Over the past year I have taken the conscious step of moving away from the "gig" scene and instead involve myself more heavily with the arts and new media.
Over time I have found the expectations of a regular gig going audience becoming more and more leaning towards "cheap thrills" and a penchant for whizz-bang dynamics.
I have never, as MyOneManBand, been all that interesting to look at and I have grown to favour dynamics that evolve slowly over often long passages of time.
after being given the chance to work in some very interesting art and performance spaces, I have decided to, for now, pursue more opportunities in this field.
I am very excited for the next step that is to come and I welcome any conversations that this change may bring.
